Today I will share with you some really interesting fact about a black hole. But first, what do you think when you hear the word 'black hole'. Well it happens to be an element in space.
Black holes are one of the most peculiar and powerful forces in the universe. A black hole is where gravity becomes so strong that nothing around it can escape .The mass of a black hole is so dense and the gravity is so strong that even light, the fastest thing known to man can't escape it, it also has an outer boundary called event horizon after you cross the it there is no coming back. do you wonder why these are called black, because they are totally black. and because of their colour they are almost invisible. So how do scientists spot them? Well the scientists on earth are very intelligent they spot Black holes with telescopes and and observe the stars and dust revolving around the Black holes.
1. Our Milky Way Probably Has a Black Hole. But don't be afraid because the black hole is many light years away from earth.2. Black Holes Distort Time and Space Around ThemIf you happened to fly near a black hole, its extreme gravitational pull would increasingly slow down time and deform space.3. There Are Too Many Black Holes to Count
In our milky way galaxy has about 100 million stellar mass black holes.4. When a star explodes and forms into a black hole it produces so much energy that the sun hasn't produce in its entire lifetime.when the in a star runs out and it it not able to hold itself it explodes and forms a black hole when this process takes place the star produces a tremendous amount of energy, the sun can't produce that much energy in it's entire lifetime. The number of black holes in space is more than the visible starscurrently there are more black holes than the number of visible stars in the universe.scientists strongly suggest that there is a super massive black hole at the galactic centre of the milky way .Right now it is dormant, but in about a 100 million years, (Which is a very long time) we are on a collision course with another galaxy so maybe the black hole will start feeding and absorbing a part of that galaxy
